In this instance, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ incorporated electrical discharge machining (EDM) into our workflow to fulfill a niche requirement while developing a customer component.

Having carried out a manufacturing process manually until then, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ noticed that lead times has increased from 18 weeks to 36 weeks due to lack of EDM machining, so 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ purchased an EDM Die Sinker machine, reducing the production time by a factor of 10.  Within very little time, 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ had reduced the customer's lead time to less than 30 weeks and enhanced its delivery speed.
